Facilities
Location
The Evolutionary Neuroscience Lab consists of two research areas. Our office space and wet lab are located in the in the Department of Human Evolutionary Biology, which is on the 5th floor of the Harvard Museum of Natural History. Our dog behavior lab located in the Northwest Building in the Center for Brain Science. The Northwest Building and the museum building are next door to each other, and are physically connected.
Office Space
We have a large, shared graduate student and RA office and separate postdoc offices, both on the top floor of the museum building. An espresso maker, kitchenette, conversation area with comfortable seating, and copy room are nearby.
Wet Lab
The wet lab is outfitted for large-format frozen tissue sectioning, histology and immunohistochemistry, and high-throughput digital microscopy.
Canine Behavior & MRI Lab
The dog lab is a custom-built suite with a soundproof testing area, Noldus video recording equipment and analysis software, volunteer waiting area with one-way observation window, and vet care area. It is located adjacent the Neuroimaging Core Facility at the Harvard Center for Brain Science.
